Primary Job Responsibilities

Objective: Create a compelling consumer focused onboarding experience that maximizes customer comprehension of PayPal’s products and services and the number of prospects who use them in the first 90 days of signing up.

The global consumer onboarding product manager will work with product and marketing managers in different geographies, analyze the current behavior, customer feedback, opportunities, planned improvements, competition and best practices to lead a team of User interaction and tech experts to create a best-in-class consumer onboarding experience that will achieve the goals outlined above.

In addition, the product manager will work with the teams in different markets to create the best go to market plan to pilot the new experience and eventually launch it globally. This position be part of the Customer Experience team in PayPal’s Global Product and Experience organization.

Job Requirements

At least 5 years in product management with a focus on Internet consumer products and/or experiences. A demonstrated ability to analyze and improve online acquisition, activation experiences. Any experience in consumer concept selling would be a plus. So, will be international experience and understanding of multiple consumer markets.

The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of best practices in consumer internet interaction and an appreciation of how different interaction and visual styles affect appeal and comprehension for customers. Knowledge of payment products, compliance requirements would give an advantage.
