Marketing Communications Specialist 

Bulldog Solutions seeks a Marketing Communications Specialist to assist with messaging development, copywriting and copy editing for BtoB demand-generation programs including Webinar promotions, lead nurturing, Web-based resource libraries and other creative materials.     

Responsibilities:

Work with clients to create compelling communications in support of programs designed to attract, engage and convert leads to closed deals. May also create and produce marketing collateral such as brochures, case studies and presentations; scripting for videos and podcast; social media communications; and other custom creative projects.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum five years experience writing for BtoB e-communications such as e-mail, e-newsletters and Web sites
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail in a high-volume, active, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to generate compelling messages out of industry-specific information
  • Proven experience with cross-functional account teams
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of HTML is preferred
  • Familiar with AP Stylebook
  • Must provide minimum of three writing samples illustrating experience in BtoB e-marketing communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications or a related field

Desired Characteristics:

The successful candidate will write concise, compelling copy for clients in a variety of industries; have a proven ability to generate compelling messages out of industry-specific information; be creative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional campaign team including project managers and Web designers; have a positive attitude and adapt readily to change; prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects under tight deadlines; and possess a desire to stay up-to-date with interactive marketing best practices.

Job Description:

The Social Media Lead Developer will be responsible for managing VMWare social media platform applications and work closely with business to help drive product integration, advanced marketing functions and social media outreach. The position will be responsible for interacting directly with business users to gather and clarify business requirements and translate requirements into technical design and lead the development effort on delivery. Position requires knowledge and experience with Social media platform such as Jive Software. Candidates will interact with IT and business personnel of all levels and should have strong business acumen and technical know-how. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast pace environment and have a strong desire to grow skills and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of the Marketing IT team focused on supporting Social Media platforms including Communities and VMWorld.
• Lead the design, development and deployment of new applications, system software, and enhancements to existing business applications within the related space.
• Administer and troubleshoot Jive Clearspace and SBS systems.
• Jive development including Plugins, Widgets, Macros, Themes, Security, Web Services and integrations with other software platforms.
• Coordinate groups of business and technology personnel who test, evaluate and validate new functions and processes, and identifies issues in software or services.
• Manages deadlines and works to meet end-user expectations.
• Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives.
• Participate and work collaboratively with team members, both onshore and offshore.

Qualifications:

• Master Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum 8 years of directly applicable experience.
• Solid understanding of website architecture, design and integration approach for Social Media applications.
• Strong technical knowledge in JavaScript, Ajax, CSS and html.
• Strong technical knowledge of Spring, Struts, FreeMarker templates and Java development.
• Strong problem analysis and resolution abilities; exercises judgment and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening) and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Experienced in customizing, integrating and extending Jive platform is a plus.
• Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Strong customer services skills with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Exhibits strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.

QA Engineer, ATX Innovation – Austin, Texas

ATX Innovation is seeking to expand its team in various areas including Engineering. TabbedOut currently runs on iPhone and Android, with infrastructure and integration components running on Linux and Windows.

Job Responsibilities

This position will involve devising tests plans and scripts for all aspects of the system, including customer facing GUIs (mobile apps and web apps), communications infrastructure, and POS system integrations.

Job Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years with Windows and Linux development
  • 3 – 5 years creating test plans and  scripts
  • 3 – 5 years testing mobile GUI applications for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, WM, Palm is a plus.
  • Experience in testing web applications useful
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; capacity to manage multiple, conflicting priorities and tasks simultaneously, cross-functional teams and communicate with all levels of management
