 Account Manager

Bulldog Solutions is currently seeking an Account Manager to add to our Client Services Team. The Account Manager is a strategic partner to clients, responsible to lead, manage, measure and optimize client marketing programs. The Account Manager develops and manages effective program blueprints that align with client business objectives, and directs multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and profitable execution. The Account Manager is a leader in the company, responsible for overall account health, retention, growth and profitability.

In addition to managing multiple marketing programs and campaigns, the Account Manager provides reporting and visibility to the Executive Team. In partnership with the Sales Organization, the Account Manager is responsible for identifying opportunities to expand and deepen client relationships, increase revenue, and ensure client retention and referral.

This position requires a strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle from lead generation to sales conversion.


  • In partnership with clients, work with Bulldog Sales and Strategic Planning teams to develop strategic demand generation marketing plans and budgets on a quarterly, bi-annual, and / or annual basis.
  • Ensure timely and profitable execution of all project and program deliverables to align with client strategic and business goals.
  • Collaborate with clients to define metrics and success criteria, and report against these metrics throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Work with internal Project Managers to manage project timelines, resources and revenue.
  • Own client relationship as a strategic partner, advocate, trusted advisor and marketing leader.
  • Establish ongoing partnerships with Creative, Marketing Communications, Technology Services, and Operations to ensure a smooth and productive flow of work.
  • Support proposal development and project planning.
  • Escalate any major roadblocks or risk factors to the team and work collaboratively to quickly resolve issues.
  • Manage external resources that may owe deliverables to project.
  • Ensure account health, profitability, retention and growth.
  • Promote a positive, solution-oriented work environment.


  • Minimum of 5 years successful experience in Client Services within an Advertising, Marketing, Media, PR agency or related business-to-business professional services firm.
  • Interactive marketing and project management experience, including: dynamic web site development, webinars, Email campaigns, end-user registration, reporting tools, web conferencing, brand marketing, etc.
  • Proven track record of obtaining results from resources that are not direct reports.
  • Excellent organizational skills; must be able to manage multiple, competing priorities with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Refined, diplomatic communication skills: ability to communicate with Clients, Sales, Marketing, Strategic Planning, IT, Design, MarComm and Executive Management.
  • Software proficiency: strong MS Office, MS Project experience, and general computer skills.

Educational / Experiential requirements

  • Bachelors in Business, Advertising, Marketing or similar field is REQUIRED.
  • Agency experience working as lead on strategic marketing client campaigns is REQUIRED.

This is a full time, regular position with no relocation assistance. There is also no sponsorship available. Local US citizens or Green Card holders ONLY please.
